Leh

Leh, a high-desert city in the Himalayas, is the capital of the Leh region in northern India’s Jammu and Kashmir state. Originally a stop for trading caravans, Leh is now known for its Buddhist sites and nearby trekking areas.

Nubra Valley

Nubra is a tri-armed valley located to the north east of Ladakh valley. Diskit the capital of Nubra is about 150 km north from Leh town, the capital of Ladakh district, India. Local scholars say that its original name was Ldumra.

Tso Moriri Lake

Tso Moriri or Lake Moriri, Wylie: lha mo bla mtsho or “Mountain Lake”, is a lake in the Ladakhi part of the Changthang Plateau in Jammu and Kashmir in northern India.

Tso Kar Lake

The Tso Kar or Tsho kar, known for its size and depth, is a fluctuating salt lake situated in the Rupshu Plateau and valley in the southern part of Ladakh in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Jispa

Jispa is a village in Lahaul, in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Jispa is located 20 km north of Keylong and 7 km south of Darcha, along the Manali-Leh Highway and the Bhaga river. There are approximately 20 villages between Jispa and Keylong.

Manali

Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley.

Chandigarh

Chandigarh, the capital of the northern Indian states of Punjab and Haryana, was designed by the Swiss-French modernist architect, Le Corbusier. His buildings include the Capitol Complex with its High Court, Secretariat and Legislative Assembly, as well as the giant Open Hand Monument. The nearby Rock Garden is a park featuring sculptures made of stones, recycled ceramics and industrial relics.

Detailed Itinerary

Day One Leh

  • Upon your arrival at Kushok Bakula Airport in Leh, our tour representative will assist you in smooth transfer to the hotel.
  • For the rest of the day, acclimatize yourself with the environment of Ladakh.
  • Proceed on a walking tour of the Leh market in the evening.
  • Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day Two Leh

  • Post an early morning breakfast, embark on a full day sightseeing tour of Indus Valley which include visit to Phiyang and Spituk monastery.
  • In the afternoon, witness confluence of Indus & Zanskar River and visit Hall of Fame.
  • Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day three Leh – Nubra Valley

  • Leave on road to Nubra Valley (125 kilometer from Leh) via Khardongla Pass (situated at an elevation of 18360 feet).
  • Arrive in Nubra Valley by noon followed by check in at the hotel/camp.
  • Later, head towards Diskit Monastery and enjoy camel safari in white Sand Dunes.
  • Stay overnight at the tented camp.
Day Four Nubra – Leh

  • Post breakfast in the morning, visit Samstanling Monastery.
  • Arrive in Leh by evening followed by shopping tour in local markets.
  • Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day Five Leh – Tsomoriri Lake

  • Early morning, leave on road to Tsomoriri Lake.
  • By late noon, arrive in Tsomoriri and explore the marine life and bird species around the lake.
  • A tour of Korzok village will enablecultural insight into Ladakh.
  • Stay overnight at the camp.
Day Six Tsomoriri Lake – Tsokar Lake

  • Early morning, hit the road to Tsokar Lake.
  • En route, visit Geo-thermal hot springs near Puga, thukjey village, see nomads along Polokongka pass and salt water Tsokar Lake.
  • One of the famous protected wetlands of Ladakh, Tsokar Lake is home to various migratory birds from Central Asia.
  • Stay overnight at the camp.
Day Seven Tsokar Lake – Jispa

  • Early morning, leave on road to Jispa via Sarchu plains.
  • En route, cross Leh-Manali highway. Enjoy the village tour of Jispa and converse with the local people.
  • Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day Eight Jispa – Manali

  • Post a leisurely breakfast in the morning, drive to Manali via Keylong town.
  • En route, cross Rohtang Pass (situated at 3,980 meters height).
  • Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day Nine Manali – chandigarh

  • After Breakfast local sightseeing and proceed to Chandigarh.
  • Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day Ten Chandigarh

  • After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing , later drop to Airport/Railwaystation.
    Tour Concludes.

  • In case of unavailability in the mentioned hotels, alternate accommodation will be arranged in a similar category hotel.
