Kausani (6000+ feet) offers best Himalayan views in Winter (Oct -March) among all Hamlets in Kumaon and is a stopover on a route that connects Garhwal with Kumaon (Via Karnaprayag). It is a quiet and serene place. Ideal location to spend a couple of days with your family and relax.
Dwarahat
Dwarahat is a town and a nagar panchayat in Almora district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is also home to the nearby Kukuchina village from where people can visit the famous Mahaavtaar Babaji Gufa.
Patal Bhuvaneshwar
Patal Bhuvaneshwar is a consortium of caves which are a natural wonder. Patal Bhuvaneshwar caves are 90 feet deep and 160 meters long. They are said to be the abode of 33 Crore Gods in Hinduism. Lord Shiva’s jata’s can also be seen in these caves.
Ranikhet
Ranikhet is a hill station and cantonment town in Almora district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is the home for the Military Hospital, Kumaon Regiment (KRC) and Naga Regiment and is maintained by the Indian Army. Ranikhet is at an altitude of 1,869 metres (6,132 ft) above sea level and within sight of the western peaks of the Himalayas. It is also home to Haida Khan ashram.

One of the most famous destinations in India, Nainital has plenty to offer. Nainital is a popular hill station in Uttarakhand, situated at an altitude of 2,084 metres (6,837 ft) Nainital is base point for guests to visit lakes of Bhimtal / Sattal / Naukuchiatal, Himalayan hamlets of Ramgarh, Mukteshwar & Almora and Cantonment town of Ranikhet.
